Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

This policy explains what Flyintel Innovations Ltd ("Flyintel", "we") collects when you use our website and apps, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

  • Searching for a flight needs a flight number and nothing about you.
  • We never ask for your booking reference, passport or card details.
  • We don't sell personal data, and we don't take money from airlines to rank them.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

What we collect

When you don't have an account

Public flight search and shared tracking links work without an account. We log the flight numbers and routes searched, plus basic technical data (approximate region, device type, timestamps) to keep the service running and spot abuse. This is not linked to a named person.

When you create an account

  • Identity: your name and email address.
  • Preferences: flights you track, saved searches and alert settings.
  • Claims: anything you enter when preparing a compensation claim, including the flight details and your account of what happened.

When you pay

Payments are handled by Paystack. Flyintel receives confirmation that a payment succeeded and which plan it relates to. We never see or store your card number.

Why we collect it

  • To tell you what is happening to a flight you are tracking.
  • To generate a rights advisory specific to your disruption.
  • To send the alerts you asked for, and nothing else.
  • To bill you if you are on a paid plan.
  • To keep the service secure and working.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is needed to deliver the service: our hosting and infrastructure providers, our payment processor, and — only when you choose to file a claim — the airline or regulator the claim is directed at. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days of closure. Claim records are kept for six years, because they may be needed as evidence in a dispute. Anonymous flight-performance data is kept indefinitely — it is what reliability scores are built from, and it does not identify anyone.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Cookies

This website uses only the storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will say so on this page and, for account holders, by email before the change takes effect.
